Magennis & Laras Song named for Irish Elite Team Training

Jim Newsam has been named on the Irish Elite Team Training Squad with his advanced mare Lara's Song & his Intermediate rising star Magennis. Both progeny of LIMMERICK and with another few siblings at home, understandably the Newsam Family & breeders are delighted.

7 Year Old LIMMERICK son Magennis takes 3rd slot at Osberton CCI** International Horse Trials in England (9th - 13th September) Magennis was bred in Co.Down by Paddy Tiernan and is owned and ridden by Jim Newsam. An elated Jim phoned the Stud on sunday afternoon after the show jumping & decided not to make a dash for the boat home but to stay for the prize giving!! a good decision & well deserved.
Jim & Paddy picked up the Northern Ireland Half Bred Horse Breeders prize for Eventing Potential for MAGENNIS & he has certainly proved their choice to be correct.
