Jumped internationally by Frankie Sloothaak, Corrado I won the biggest show in the world, Aachen, setting the stage for his superstar jumping career. His wins all over Europe set him apart as the epitome of jumper sires. In 1994 Corrado won the German National Championships.
What is intriguing about Corrado I is the absolute proven cross of Cor de la Bryere and Capitol. Cor de la Bryere is respected as one of only a few elite stallions ever to produce such rideable horses for all the Olympic disciplines. Add to this the absolute level-headedness of the Capitol line and it's no wonder Corrado inherited such talent which he in turn passes on to his offspring. At his 100 Day Test Corrado I received 10's in loose jumping and 8's on rideability and canter. He has produced 60 approved stallion sons and 111 approved daughters. br>
